"xp doesnt like some older hardware, but with this driver i was able to get my old reliable scanjet up and running, instead of that lexmark thing!!!!"

"Even though the driver shows an error insalling because one dll cannot be unzipped and / or installed, ir repaires the original installation of the HP CD and it works."

"As soon as I started installing it I had a Windows message to stop install. It said something like will harm orperating system. Search by manufacturer, HP had the driver."

"it worked!!.... However, I loaded the packaged software... restarted... loaded this driver from driverguide.com.... plugged in the scanner... didn't work. double-clicked the file from driverguide.com and it worked!!"

"Obrigada Paulo! The driver works perfect! Before, my scanner wouldn't work at all on Windows XP with the install cd from HP! The scanner wouldn't even turn on. Now that I downloaded this driver update, it works perfect! I had no problems downloading or installing the driver. It was quick and easy. Just download, install and restart. Thank you so much! :)"

"after downloading the driver i get a message in (i think) spanish, i really don't know what it means so the first time i click yes and the second time i click no

but both times i get the message that the driver must be reinstalled

"Very good driver. Apart from the installation box that was in Spanish as far as I recognise this language, I haven't got any problems with it. When the Spanish stuff appeared on my screen, I just kept on clicking on OK and after this I checked the Configuration Screen of Windows and I saw that the scanner was installed. It still works so; excellent driver imo :D"
