"Driver may or may not be good for visioneer 6100usb. I gave up with win 2k pro & XP recognizing it, but I never was able to make scanner work."

"Didn't work for me. I'm using Windows XP Home Edition on a 800mhz machine. When I try to use Paperport it tells me that Ver. 5.x does not work. This is even after I installed the driver. Any help?

(I can use Photo Explorer 6 and I can use the scanner.)"

"This driver is the exact driver from the Visoneer website for the PaperPort 6100. This device is only compatible with Windows 95/98 - sorry but you're looking at the wrong driver if you are not on a 95/98 OS.

"For all of you to know, 2000 version will never work. Use either win98Se or WinXp pro. To really solve the problem is buy another scanner from anyone else but Visioneer,havent you all learned YET HAHAHAHA"

"I used the driver that came with my scanner in the Win NT mode on Windows xp pro works fine only I have to open the scanner every time to lite the lite to get it to scan email me if you have any questions"

"worked great for my Visioneer 6100B undr WinXP Pro. I installed it simply by double clicking on the driver file name in Explorer. The program actually installs two drivers - one for the 6100, and one for the 6100B. I uninstalled the 6100 driver - leaving the 6100B. Although the scanner now works with the PaperPort software that comes with the scanner, it works better with
