"Unzipped downloaded missing Intel 537EP Modem driver file(Intel C56.sys).

Copied file directly to Windows System32 Drivers folder. XP found and installed

new hardware and modem tested fine. Thanks, Dan

"Unzipped to c:\unzipped\mi220 folder. I went to Device Manager, and selected the unknown PCI modem. Right clicked and chose to update driver. Told it to go to the c:\unzipped folder and it installed the driver perfectly. Works great! Thank you driverguide. You guys are the best!"

"I have XP. This driver took a little extra to work, but it did. Had to tell the PC it's a generic 56K modem, after that the drivers loaded."

"I had to install under System/Hardware control panel. Modem control panel wouldn't install it. It did work for me under 98se."

"PCI Modem MI820 - PN: KM1180010001

Using a Pentium II 450MHZ PC this driver was not recognised as a valid driver for this modem. My opions about the install are based on a total failure due to the above failure. Possible KM...10001 is radically different than KM...10002 Will continue my search."
