"I'm on my seventh hour looking for this dab nabbid driver to configure my XP for a technically sophisticated device. An internal cd-rom drive. I think cd players hit the US market nearly 25 yrs ago and I can hardly believe that we haven't agreed on standard drivers."

"Champion. Worked on Win98 beautifully. CD ROM could not read home burnt cd's before, now it reads all cd's OK.. Good work. Suggestion for Sarah, read instructions carefully. Most cd's are attached to primary IDE so you need to press space bar not enter when asked about ide at setup."

"Unzipped and file stated it was for a different model. I installed it anyway 'cos I'm fed up messing about, and guess what ? Didn't work ! GOD GIVE ME STRENGTH"
