"Just run it in compatibility mode for Windows XP. Now the media buttons work and the internet keys are glowing - very cool. Haven't figured out how to program them yet."

"This driver did not work with my computer. In fact, it locked up my system so bad that I had to wipe my C drive, and re-install XP. As a side note HP does not have a driver for this particular keyboard. Go figure!"

"You need this driver to take full use of HP SK-2565 keyboard. a generic USB keyboard will not work with the extra function keys on the top and generic driver will not allow the lighted key feature to work. Once I got the driver installed and restarted, I plugged the keyboard and it worked the first time, including the cool light up keys on the top."

"The rating I give now is immediately following install but all looks good so far.

I replaced the hard-drive on my HP Pavilion 760N with Multimedia keyboard model 5308 (p/n 5185-2027). Because I also wiped out the drivers I never could get back to the proper driver for the keyboard. The identification, download and install of mmk_xp.exe from driverguide.com driverguid

"The driver worked (partially) for the HP Multimedia Keyboard SK-2565 Part- Number 5185-2027. Using Windows 11 Pro. All the multimedia internet buttons lit up shopping, sports, finance, connect, search, chat, e-mail (trying to figure out how to program and use them), the CD/DVD/MP3 and volume control knob works as well as pause and music icon.
