'EPSON Printer Utility Setup - There is nothing to be set up. Please check that you have selected a driver/application to install and retry"

Judging by other comments success is dependent on local environment. Like any driver try it and see. It might work on your system"

after clicking on setup an error message shows up:

There is nothing to be setup, check if you have selected a driver set up etc.

OS is XP pro"

"Tengo Windows XP, el site indicaba que el controlador serviria con xp, pero trate de instalarlo y es el mismo controlador que se usa en win95, es decir no me sirvio para nada"

"I tried to install this driver for Windows 2000 using the 'setup' on disk 1. I got a message saying there was nothing to set up. I tried to install it through 'add a printer' and it still would not install ... so disapointed as the Epson 600 will only print at 720 dpi with the drivers provided by Windows 2000."

"I tried to install with add a printer and it sent me warnings about the driver not being Microsoft approved but I continued and it eventually did not install. I then tried to install thru setup on disk1 and it said there was nothing to set up. I have Windows XP and the download said it was good for XP."

"On my laptop with XP. After trying the 98 file from epson with no success. loaded this file then the plug and play took over and installed printer without hitch. Works Fine now, thank you"
