"I downloaded another offering of the same driver, but for Windows 98, but during installation it says that there's a file missing. This one works perfectly for my aging webcam. (It's a webcam that's made by a totally different manufacturer too ... an Intel YC72.)"

"I had no issues with the driver. Prior to plugging in camera, install driver, plug in camera. If you had the camera plugged in before and Windows did not "find" the driver for it, you will have to go "update driver" in the device manager. I love DriverGuide!!"

i had a cm10401 webcam and i install the driver from driverguide. oh my god ! it really works. i dont belive that cause i was searching for the driver more then 6 months.

"Worked like a charm.

Because i had tried some other drivers, i had to uninstall everything and then install this software. Then i ran the windows hardware wizard and picked automatic. It had no problem linking my "Generic Camera" To the software and drivers. Problem solved!"

"CM10401 is my Webcam... When I connect, I see "CIF Single Chip" in device manager with yellow exclamation icon and my webcam cannot be used. Any help on how to fix this ?"

"I've downloaded and installed a half dozen times now and it DOES NOT WORK with XP. Seems fine with Vista, which is weird because my printer STILL hasn't been updated to work with Vista and it's been since March..."
