"Logitech | mouse driver | ps/2: Downloaded the Driverguide site copy. Self-extracted ok, but when initializing Setup a "STOP setup" window popped up...I left it for 10 minutes, then clicked "OK". Program dialogue-box reported that it was 'deleting' *TEMPORARY* files. 'File Manager' window showed *ALL* the extracted directories/files hanging off a ~?????

??.tmp file, hanging off WINDOWS directory. As soon as I tried to highlight the "disk1" dir. they all disappeared - (as soon as the .tmp file got highlighted in fact). I tried several times but the same thing happened. I also did a driver-search for Mouse | ps/2 | 3.1 & got another upload, also to an external site - logitech.com - but I got: Product or Page Unavailable

"Works fine on Windows 3.1, this is not the update package that you can find on the Logitech site, it's the full driver.

To anyone not getting anything when they launch the DriverGuide download program, try running it as an administrator, that worked for me."
