"Works very well, installed on a SiS 530/5595 chipset a-ok. One word of advice? Uninstall the old drivers first using the SiS uninstall utility included in this disk. If your using standard windows ide drivers, don't worry about it."

First, when you turn your computer on, what do you see? Did you see Award AMIBIOS or something similar? Well you can go to AMI at www.ami.com and under the "Documentation " heading click on "Motherboard ID."

"This driver refused to install, from the inf file under windows xp. Just get the 530_udma patch to enable dma mode transfers."
