"I've tried to use this driver on a Windows server 2003 but it does not work. The system can not find a compatible driver in the descompressed folders. Where can I find the right one?, Can anyone help?"

"UPDATE - though this driver works, I was getting very slow throughput, 2 - 3 MB/min. I found a more current version of the DOS driver from National's site, and I uploaded it here at www2.driverguide.com/uploads/uploads22/30953.html Also, I had to add the following lines to protocol.ini to get maximum performance TXQUEUE=8 RXQUEUE=8 MEDIATYPE=H

"I am working with an IBM 4694 POS with onboard LAN chip DP83815 Processor is VIA and running on WIN NT4.0. Problem is POS suddenly disconnects itself from NW. Can ping itself but cannot ping any other. This happens only on the onboard LAN or a Netgear PCI LAN card (also uses DP83815). Other PCI LAN cards work OK but we want the onboard LAN to work so we do not have to buy

"i downloaded the driver and only to find symbols. it must be either opened by an application or unzipped. dont see instructions on the website to do this. please instruct. thanks"

"I had 38 new computers with the netgear fa311 network card and needed a dos packet driver ie c83815.com file for my boot disk to connect to our Netware server for ghosting all other avenues failed including talking to Netgear all I did was to copy the file to my boot disk make my usual changes and it work brillantly thankyou very much"

"If you're successful at getting the *.dos (NDIS2) part of this driver to work with Drive Image 2002 on an HP Pavilion laptop, please let me know. I can't, and have tried other dp83815 drivers to no avail. The winXP part of this driver works no problem."

"I work for a retail store and the new IBM 4694 systems use this card. However, the IBM drivers DON'T work! Go figure...These drivers worked without issue."

"I used the NDIS2 drivers in this package to create a DOS boot disk so that I could image some new HP laptops. It worked great, I had tried going through both HP and National Semiconductor with no luck. Thank you!"

"I am running Windows 2000 on an IBM 4694 (POS Register). I tried to install the driver, but it wouldn't take. The Win2000 readme apears to be binary. Any ideas?"
