"This driver did NOT work with my emachine anihiem3 motherboard. I have win98se and the driver needed for this exact motherboard to get sound is the AC9x WDM driver files, DriverVer= 08/02/2000,5.12.01.4026,1998 Crystal Semiconductor Corp. cs429x.inf,cwawdm.sys,Pw4026.cat,look for Crystal AC9x WDM Driver Disk to make this same Anihiem3 mobo sound functional under win98se.&q

"I was trying this driver on a eMonster 500a with a crystalcs4280 instead of the 4281 on the eMonster600. That's all it took for it not to work. So for those eMonster 500 owners out there, this is NOT the driver for you. It would be unfair for me to comment on anything else concerning this driver, however."

"Thank you so much for making this driver available. My system is an emachine 600ix and i think im just about the only person that has one. This driver worked wonderfully on windows 98. If anyone needs to chat about the 600ix with me or can offer me some overclocking info i am all ears. Thanks again!!!"

"Emachine is Sucks ! Support is rubbish. wasted 2 days no result. I will consult my client against purchasing emachine.. they do not have concept of customer support. Emonster 600 would not load cs4281 driver's on window 98. Finally upgraded the machine to win2k professional and was able to load the cs4281 driver for win2k."

"Works on an Etower 600is model with Microsoft ME. Check E-machines home page and try to order parts. The list of parts for each pc model number will tell you what type of sound card or chip is being used with that system. Then look here."
