"Works perfectly under DOS (real DOS, not the DOS Box). As far as I start Windows 95, it completely stops working, even in DOS Box. I still see the CD Drive, but I can't access it. "i needed a driver to help me see the PCMCIA(PC Card) CD-ROM on the Toshiba Portege 3010CT.

it worked first time under windows 2000 thanks to this site.

the question is why is this NOT available on the toshiba website?"

"Installing this (even when the installer claimed I was installing over newer files) prevented the driver dialog coming up (Freecom Technologies). It also allowed Retrospect to recognise my Seagate Travan USB backup tape device. It is particularly appreciated because www.freecom.de (or .com) were both inaccessible today. Many thanks."

"I have just loaded this into a Toshiba Portege 3110CT notebook to run the PCMCIA(PC Card)CD-ROM, without which I could not continue to re-install W98SE which had been annihilated by some turkey worm writer. I am very grateful to Leon for posting this."
