"I'm no big fan of HP, but I found this driver just by e-mailing HP tech support and asking. They sent me a link to this page. Might try asking the manufacturer, before you freak out about not being able to find a driver."

"Yeah HP BLOWS! This driver did work on a 8580C. NIC= EN1207D-TX PCI 10/100. Chip says MPX EN5038. Thanks for the driver oh yeah HP blows."

"HP has the worst tech support than anyone EVER! I erased windows98se(by mistake, yes im stupid.)and now I don't have any drivers for anything on my comp since I dont have the "Recovery Disk" Well atleast thanks to you guys I might atleast get my dsl working so I can searh faster in my never ending quest to find my video, sound, cdr-w, dvd, and any other driver I might need

"This site and the people here rock. This is the only place I could find this driver... HP sucks for support and downloads. It worked with my 8760c as well, so it must be a relatively common nic driver for the Pavillion family. Thanks for the upload!"
