Additional Notes

After hours of research and expermentation. I have finally found a bios that will work correctly with this Hsing derived mainboard. The board is called "Topgun" and the manual says it has a "TXPro chipset". However it has Acer brand names, M1543 B1 and M1531 B1, for the north and south bridge set. Further this board has NO onboard sound, NO onboard video, NO AGP slot. It has 3 ISA slots, 4 PCI slots, onboard IO, 4 72 pin simm slots, 3 168 pin SDRam slots and the Version number is 1.2.

NOTE this replacement bios will replace the so called "winbios" with the later keybord menu type.
