"Just download, extract All files to whatever folder you choose, then run the "Re-Install (Network) Driver" wizard from the Device Mgr, choose "Win 2000" folder, select the (Only) file inside, run wizard to finish & reboot..

"I had a DFE538-TX Rev.D1 and the 538 drivers off the d-link driver page did work in Win98 but I had to specify a device and chose the 530 selection. It did work with the card. I haven't always been so lucky =("

"Works fine with ME. It ask for a file, but you can browse to point to it in WinNT4. DLink drivers ( on their site) do not work for this card. They are DFE-530TX , not 538TX...."

"Same thing I got on the disk with the card the win98 .inf file is all messed up (no driver names will show up so you can't install it). 538tx drivers on the dlink webpages are actually 530tx drivers (and do not seem to be working (or I might have a defective card...))."
