"This file and all of the files in here that contain the fromdos.exe and *.obj files work excellently! You must create a windows 98 startup disk. Include the 2 files and type at the C:> prompt.

"When I type fromdos.exe in MS-DOS, it indicated that there was no samsung drive. I do not recommend it, at least, for Windows XP Service Pack 3."

"Check comments of donna harrison. Ring true as i had to have Direct x 8.1 for windows 2000 pro O/s and had no problem at all playing DVDs without any of thiis messing. I have downgraded to my Poxy packard bell and have had nothing but problems. Im gong to upgrade the Direct X. cheers Donna"

"It's not a driver. My Samsung DVD is SD-608. It couldn't read any CD or DVD, but my PC recognize that with no problem. I tried to use this driver, and it didn't work for Win2000, and it didn't find my DVD drive in Win98. If anyone found it, please e-mail me the address. Thank you!"

This driver is one that asks you to create a windows 98 start up disk and run from that.
