This is the compaq softpaq of the ETHERNET card in the notorious 1700 series laptop. This card is made by Conexant. The Conexant minipci Modem Lan combo card, whatever you want to call it. AT the moment I can only get the ethernet card to work, no luck with the modem. I hope this helps. Compaq's support could not give this to me, they just told me to stick it in my pipe and smoke it.
