"Keep receiving a "cannot find fte.dll" error and setup is looking in precopy1.cab on the Windows 98 CD. There is definitely no fte.dll on any of the Windows 98SE cab files! Modem is X-Link XL-V336i"

"Whilst I havent used this posted driver, I have an X-Link 336iv 8bit Rockwell RCV288DPi VF1128HV-R9 made by GVC I have got the modem to work in PNP mode & would appreciate any help on jumpers for this modem."

"HI GRAHAM the specs i wrote down of the modem box are = X-LINK XL-2881 AUSTEL SERIAL NO 967147 REN 0.8 AND AT THE BACK OF THE MODEM I SET THE JUMPERS TO PORT 2 AM I DOWNLOADING THE RIGHT DRIVER AND DID I SET THE JUMPERS CORRECT. REGARDS HARRY"
