"Unzips just fine, contained no driver for my particular board. An absolute dud! Odd, it's supposed to support the AN983, but there are 3 unrelated drivers for Win98/ME and one for the AN985 (?!?) Might be better with older or newer boards, but not this one at all."

"It installed surpisingly well on a system which was not designed for Win2K. This is Fujitsu-Siemens AMILO-D C1100 notebook (XP Home only), detected AN983 network adapter, but did not install properly the driver from supplied CD (yellow mark persisted). The driver from Driverguide solved the problem, however, I had to go through Compatible hardware option in the Wizard and

I needed this driver for an old nic I had somewhere, and of course when I needed it, could only find the card , no drivers, no manual, thus, downloading the drivers was the only choice.

Average install, and of course working average.

Ps: average in my neighbourhood means, normal.

"That`s it! I searched the web for a long time to find a driver for the AN983 for WinNT 4.0. Not even Infinion (who took over ADMTek) have a driver for download... but driverguide.com has one!!! FIrst I couldn`t believe it, but after installing I can only say: Excellent!"

"First ran the diagnostic tool included and was informed that my hardware did not exist. Next tried "update driver" in Device manager and after pointing it to the directory, for some bizarre reason it decided that the Win 95 driver was correct. I gave MS the benefit of the doubt, let it install the driver and restarted but just "This device is not functioning
