"this driver is crap...if u install windows 2000 then install 2000drivers and do an upgrade to xp the driver will work...well it did for me"

"The FB 310 scanner isn't compatible with windows XP. You could do a new partiton to install windows ME too."

"THIS IS DEFINITELY NOT COMPATIBLE WITH WINDOWS XP. I installed it, worked it the first time, but later crashed and jammed my machine hard while trying to detect the scanner. Do not, repeat, do not download this for XP."

"Publishing this driver is a good thing, as I lost the installation disk. Canon seems to forget a scanner can last for a while before buying a new one."
