"Have hardly every had an issue with finding a good driver for these rock solid network cards. Too bad SMC is not still around. Will miss them sorely. This driver worked excellent with this good ole card and had my network up and running flawlessly in seconds."

"Found this driver by search for SMC1255TX Drivers for EMAchines W1500 that I have loaded Win 2K Pro on in plce of XP Home.

This driver pack does not contain an installer and using re-install driver option in properties of Device Manager>Ethernet Card, it is unable to recognize any of .inf files and reports that it was unable to find a suitable driver."

"It's an all-n-one setup. Win98 won't find drivers like modern win, but if you select and drill down, the drivers are there in the win98 folder. Also, have the win98 CD on hand."
