"Do not install this driver- even consider returning the camera- tere is no stable driver i have found for tis sevice - even Vivitar had none directly at their site..It crashed the OS (XP Pro SP2) on two different computers ( a Gateway GM5260 Media Center Edition and an E Machines PC) All attempts to uninstall and reboot were unsuccessful and Vivitar has yet to

"Well, the software installed just great! However, when you plug in the camera, it isn't recognized, nor can the system find the drivers where they were supposedly installed when you try to update the driver in the Device Manager.

"Bought the camera at auction, thought it would work like a standard USB device. Didn't. I'm glad this site had the driver, but geez, what a pain to use (the site, not the driver).

I accept a certain amount of advertising for a 'free' site, but this was ridiculous. And there are enough free sites for most drivers that I don't expect to see a value in paying for access.
