"It's worked perfectly for the past two years, what can I say? Had more problems with the driver physically than driver-wise, I guess that's a good thing for the driver."

"This model is also an Aopen duw1608 thier was one othe download to change it over to aopen it is too work better so everyone said bur trying to crossflash it to aopen not sure on that the other down load wont down load not sure on this stock one and aopenb has few more newer updates"

"For updating this, you've got to do in windows 98.

After updated the firmware, the drive doesn't work well. It slows down your PC. It can read/play DVD but CANNOT RECORD.
