"I also have the v.90 modem and not the v.92. I tried the initialisation string +ms=v90 posted by James Forrest and it worked straight away. Thanks James"

"have a v90 modem had problems connecting under XP. hanging etc. added +ms=v90 to the init modem string under modem config in control panel works sweet as a nut now. e-mail if you have problems i might be able to help."

"Sorry to say that the first time the modem is addressed at installation, the 'On' light is activated but my system then just hangs. Tried many times. Was OK in 98SE, but I'm not going back to that."

"Are you sure it works for the V.90 modem. I think this modem is only for V92. I tried this driver in France where I live on my V90 modem and didn't work !!! -( Any idea to make it work ??"
