"Works very well with the intended Toshiba CD-RW device under MS-DOS 6.22. The file's a little on the large size if you're trying to optimize memory usage under DOS."

"This appeared to replace the Microsoft driver ver 5.1.2535.o dated 1july2001. It did not work with my Toshiba Satellite laptop model 3005-S307 using Toshiba "DVD ROM" model SD-R2102"

"This file is cdrom.sys. I couldn't load it using update driver. My ignorance has caused this download a failure on my part. Sorry for the poor review, I was just being honest."

"this file is for booting your system to be able to recognize your DVD rom and use it as a CD-ROM drive as to first install software (i.e Windows) not to be a functional DVD-ROM. to get actual DVD use, you need a program, *NOT* a driver to operate this feature"

"yep. XP Pro w/ SP1's cdrom.sys breaks older CDRW's and DVD-ROM's. this fixed both my Toshiba SD-M1212 DVD-ROM and my Yamaha CRW-4416S SCSI CDROM."

"Instructions are great to have. Please send them to me. I am unsure where to place this file, or the others I've downloaded for my Toshiba Satellite Pro 4300. As I now have Windows Xp running and want my DVD rom to work. Please advise if I have the right file or not, and if not where would I get the right drivers for it."
