"corrects "80-pin connector not installed" for primary ide. lots and lots of settings in the bios to get it tweaked. best of all is this will allow you to use a PCI video card and disable the onboard cpu/mem hog. I believe i used awdflash742.exe to write the bios."

"MiTAC 5114 VU motherboard. Click on 5114flash.exe to extract 4 files. I was not able to use the awd5114.bat file like the instructions on the txt file indicate. However, after booting to an A:/, I was able to type awdflash765.exe to start the flash process. From there just follow instructions to save the old bios file and type in the new bios file: 51141107.bin. Once

"Thanks for the flash, I had to rename the files to the dos 8.3 format then the install went ok, got rid of 80 pin message, and it sees up to ata 66 on my 3 HD, thought this might remedy the 256 per DIm limit on the ram but i guess that's a board limitation."

"driver does all it claims and more. ATA66 seems to be working great. The poorboy 5114 with 233MMX handles 46GB ATA100 drive beautifully. Every bit as useful and usable for business purposes as a new 1.4GB P4 Dell"

"Installed it on a "Compaq Camaro" board to get rid of the useless Compaq BIOS. Works perfectly, but has to be flashed with UNIFLASH instead of the included program!"
