"when you search for SB4100.INF the filter selections should be:

Motorola, Any Device, Any OS, All Dirvers

"use the NET4100.INF file with NET41001.SYS (both available at driverguide.com) and place both files in the

%windows\system32\drivers% file (for winXP). don't forget to rename NET41001.SYS to NET4100.SYS. after completing these steps connect the motorola sb4100 cable modem to your computer with a USB patch cable and let the found new hardware wizard do its thing."

"Worked for me you people with problems did you remove the (1) from the filename. You then nave to uninstall the driver unplug modem and reinstall driver."
