"I used this driver for the HP Pavilion D4100e onboar sound. The computer comes with an audio card but I took it out and popped it in my other pc. There was a piece of plastic blocking the onboard sound ports and HP obviously doesn't support it that would just be too easy. So after a brief search I used this. Works lovely. "I have an HP Pavilion d4100e this machine has an add on card but I wanted to use the onboard drivers (the one that was blocked by that little piece of plastic that says "do not remove" so I tried this driver. It works perfectly. The audio driver works for onboar but if you need to install the add on card you'll need different drivers (Just open the case and look
