"Uses German language WinZIP to extract files, but works as described. Been looking for this for ages as original driver was Win2000 and no XP. Thanks."

"you wonderful people have come to my rescue yet again!

this driver works with the elsa usb fun modem and the similar devolo usb modem, the easy way to install is to take note of where it unzips to{by default} then

type in the box and click ok,saves a lot of frustration trying to find it,works with se win98, win2000, winxp, and vista,many thanks for all your efforts

"why not use the windows NT drivers that came with your modem for installing in XP ? you need to use mdmelsa9.inf for installation."

"impossible to open it .. even with winzip .. Anyway elsa.com is closed. It's my second elsa modem & i have so many pbs with them ... so let's forget elsa !"

"I am having major problems with this modem and win xp and my lexmark x73 printer! When I install the printner I cant get online. I get error 633!! Will have to dump this modem get a diamond modem like I had before!"

"To avoid OS freeze and disconnect select your modem -> properties on the "general" tab click configure and change the maximum speed to 57600 Then everything works fine..."

"This is no better than the Beta version I had to download when I bought the modem - it still freezes the PC and disconnects intermittantly. Do not buy this product if you have XP."
