"The download page says this driver is for XP x64 however, it will not load. I believe that it, the driver, is using a 16 bit installer which is not recognized by XP x64. The download page needs to be corrected to reflect that this driver is NOT for the x64 system."

"this Sigmatel_XP_Drivers_exploreraudioxp installs Packard Bell VIA AudioController Sigma Tel CODEC 5.10.0.3510 17/09/2001 ans seems to work. I will revert to Packard Bell Sigma Tel C-Major Audio 6.14.1.3731 7/12/2002 installed from stac97n_via.exe, also downloaded from driverguide. Both work, I keep the most recent."
