"I'm naturally suspicious of anything free on the Internet... actually I'm naturally suspicious of the Internet full stop. Tried this driver site, and downloaded this driver - AD1816.zip (Running XP on an old HP Kayak) It worked perfectly! I'm still suspicious, but much happier now that I have sound working. =)"

This driver is not executable. but do this To b and Larry and others this is how to do it Go to add hardware (In control panel)If windows does not find the device go to the list and select it yourself and select drivers from the location you extracted it to. Click OK or Next. You should ignore if XP says the drivers are not verified. You should here sound.&qu

"Thanks man. It worked. It tells something like the driver is not verified by windows blablabla! but I just ignored it and after my sound is good. Select the driver from list and specify location to install. Thanks again. That was good."
