I have the solution to make your scanner work under win2k and also under winXP. This scanner has an Artec chip inside. Install the am12e file and reboot. Also install the stardriv file. Than start Photoshop, if you don't have it you can get it through KAZAA. Select Twain, and select the AM12E. Import Twain_32 and try it. You will get a failure message now. Than Select Twain again, and select the Starscan 4800. Import Twain_32 and it works. Good luck,(don't know if it works with other scan programs too)
