This driver was suggested by 3com technical support but they do not support it. I had to uninstall the 3com software, install this software, shutdown, plug in the camera and reboot. Once rebooted I went into Device Manager and did an Update Driver on the camera. Then it worked.

  • In Windows XP, click Start -> Control Panel -> Performance and Maintenance -> System -> Hardware tab -> Device Manager button

How to Install a driver from Device Manager

  1. Locate the device and model that is having the issue and double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.

  2. Select the Driver tab.

  3. Click the Update Driver button and follow the instructions.
