"I have a Windows 98 not 98SE OS system and have a Creative Labs "Sound Blaster Live!" sound card. The model#: is CT4780. Please help me find the right driver that would be supported by my Windows 98 OS system."

"It was jus not the right driver for my device, which was a Aopen FM56-PM modem. The system didn't recognized it. I had to open the machine and read what is on the piece of hardware itself.

The driver detecting program didn't recognize it either. It took it as a Conexant device. Conexant just manufactured one component of the Aopen modem."

"I tried to use this driver for the modem portion of a Rockwell RipTide sound/modem/game combo card running on Windows98SE. It installed in a snap, but when I used Device Manager to check Properties, it said "Cannot read Port name from Registry". When I used Control Panel / Modems to do a diagnostics, the modem wasn't even detected."
