"I spent hours on web to find an driver for my sound card Yamaha YMF724B-V for Win XP and I find that sound card drive is compatible with CMI8738-4CH. Both is the same! (ROMANIAN helper! )"

"it didn't work. while installing win xp pro said new hardware found cmi8738/c3dx then it said could not install and cmedia installer said waiting for audio driver to respond and nothing happened. any help would be appreciated. (note i have win xp pro dual boot with win 98 SE on a 40 gig hdd split into 15 gig and 25 gig partitions)"
