"This driver worked after the installation dance. 1st you install the 1st part that's in DOS. then you install the 2nd part that's in WINDOWS. Then you might have to install in device manager a few times to get it to take.

Then you wait for it to fail. It fails for who knows why! Then maybe once I've been able to get it up again with out a WINDOWS reinstall.

"This is the "RAID" Package and is perect for purpose

intended. I you have the Sil 0680a card. The Sil

0680--as opposed to Sil 0680a is NOT totally supported and may cause damage to the devise. Caution! The operative word! Use care to determine if you have a "RAID" supported devise, or not and if not do not chance damage."

"this is very old software

this is not a driver, but some config tool

I feel cheated by the way this download preocedure was carried out, and then its not even a driver :( very poor handled by driverguide."
