Additional Notes

The following information is regarding the use of this driver on an IBM thinkpad 600E Laptop running XP professional (it may be similar for others)

This win2k driver comes from IBM's site and is THE BEST I have tried as the other drivers here have the problem that displaying video in 24bit colour at any resolution causes strange vertical lines :(

Cons:

- Driver doesn't contain gamma tab (no loss, you'd never want to alter it honestly)

Pros:

- Works as well as the default XP driver with the added bonus that TVout support is included (you must be in 16bit colour mode)

- Videos no bigger than 352x240 will run accelerated in 1024x768x24bit colour :)

- You have SOME CHOICE with how you watch DVD's (these are best)

1. 1024x768x16bit colour

2. 800x600x24bit c
