"Could not get it to load. Device manager said "the current driver is more up to date" even though it is at leats 1 yr older. Any suggestions?"

"Worked on eMachines eMonster 600 onboard sound card. After installation, CWRDOS.EXE was placed in the autoexec.bat. This hung up the system upon reboot. Booting to safe mode command prompt allowed the line to be edited out of the autoexec and all worked well after that."
