if you wanna use, go to control menu then select add hardware. use the the location of your file after unrar.

if you wanna use klik the printer & faxes, choose the scanner then klik"

"umax when contacted wants you to purchase a CD for their scanners when you upgrade to XP. What they don't tell you is you will get the same drivers that are offered here on the CD you purchased and that the problem was a conflict between XP and the umax scanner. They will claim when you contact them that it's a XP problem and they have nothing to do with it. Tip before ins

"Not a self-installing driver setup, but nice. Actually includes a .inf file you can point windows at.... what ever happened to this being the standard? Back then I NEVER had a problem installing drivers.

"I tried downloading it and waited for some 30 minutes doing so but at the end it just won't work. I was notified that it can't a path or whatever and just terminated by itself."

"this does not install umax astra 4100 software. it installs other junk into your system and changes browsers settings. this is not software, but some sort of malware/adware"
