"Find another driver, this one will not work. There is a link on the Linksys site that tells you which version of driver matches your hardware code. The WPC card uses about 5 different chipsets & they're not intercompatible. This driver will not work with any of them. It probably never uploaded to the site properly."

"Problem I am having is adapter is inactive. Have WPC54Gv1 adpator. This driver is only the setup.exe and contains no drivers. I did put it in place of the setup.exe from the latest download off of Linksys's site but still did not help me."
