"I have been trying to get my Canon FS2710 to work on Win XP for over a year. It would only work with ViewScan - which I had to pay for and loading the Adaptec Driver.

I downloaded this miniscule file and loaded it into the CanoScan FS folder after renaming it 2710.inf and everything works like magic.

It has made my day!!!"
