"Well I did write a precise review in here but because I hadn't identified the OS in the tick box above, all my comments were wiped when coming back to correct the ommission. Ah well. Guess anybody looking will have to miss out until DriverGuide correct such glaring errors in functionality. Otherwise DG's not a bad site. Has had several drivers that have proven their worth

Just what I was looking for. Works well on WINXP_SP1. With other drivers I could not shut internal modem speaker up - it was driving me mad. But now it only makes noise during handshaking and when connection is made it goes silent - the way it should be. Thanks again.

"IT WORKS !!! It was such a challenge to find the correct driver. Thanks a lot for this. It did not work straight away though and I needed to use the troubleshoot facility.
