"Ok, in case you need additional help here is how to get this thing to work with XP:

Insert PaperPort CD and cancel the autorun. Then right click and explore the CD.

Go to Vision folder then copy Base folder to your PC.

Remove PaperPort CD

Open Base Folder and delete SCANNERS.INI

Run SETUP.EXE

When prompted..select Twain Scanners and highlight OTHER abnd

See More

click NEXT.

On the registration screen click NEXT and then CANCEL to skip registration.

Now double click the 6100u2k.exe file you downloaded and follow the instructions. (Ignore the warning)

When asked to insert disk click OK.

Browse to C:\WINDOWS\Inf\i386 and click OK"

"I installed another driver for XP from this site which didn't work, then replaced it with this one. This one did the trick! This was the last driver I needed to finish updating my peripherals for XP! Thanks!!!"

"The driver didn't work. When selecting the twain button it switched but I couldn't preview or scan. The scanning just hung."
