"This driver installs fine for Win98se but will not make the modem work. I was unable to find a Win98se driver to make this PCTel modem work, which is why i tried this WinXP version instead. I ended up throwing the modem away (k56 Flex oldie) and buying a USR 56k a s a replacement."

"O/S Windows XP SP2

PCI Modem, HSP56.

On chip = PCTel, PCT789T

This was the only XP driver that worked out of many many I have tried."

"Worked in WinXP Pro but the PNP didn't work inialy I had to change IRQ and com port and then only after a re-boot it worked fine. ^^^^^^^"

"Worked Great, older card made it hard to come by a driver. Just ran upgrad driver and tested good."
