"Works fine in my Win98se test machine, with the Smart Modular Technologies, Inc (Combo Card) RIPTIDE Modem/Sound, MIDI Combo Card Model No: 90079, FCC # 2D7USA-33303-M5-E, I installed the drivers independently, sound, Modem, and Game Port. Thank's"

"I wish to heck we could edit previous reviews because (hello?) sometimes I make mistakes. In rating a much larger version of this package I said it all worked fine but truth was, the modem evidently got a driver from elsewhere -- not from that download. I found that out when I formatted the HD on another machine and started from scratch.

How to Update Riptide PCI Audio Legacy Resources Device Drivers Quickly & Easily

How to Install a driver from Device Manager

  1. Locate the device and model that is having the issue and double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.

  2. Select the Driver tab.

  3. Click the Update Driver button and follow the instructions.

In most cases, you will need to reboot your computer in order for the driver update to take effect.
