"I had bought a computer at an auction, but it had no drivers. It had an SMC 10/100 ethernet adapter, but I had no idea which particular model it was. I just downloaded this driver as a shot in the dark and bingo! It has worked perfect from day one. It's on this computer I'm writing this with right now!"
