"Your company sucks. I got this from HP to fix a laptop compaq sorry ass 1220. The file was to large for the floppy and would not download. don't zip it either because there is no zip on laptop. So, I still do not have windows media player nor sound and more fustration with all them freakn ads. If you want to rate high on your site then get back to the basics of techs. KISS

"This driver worked and still works perfectly to this day. The driver was installed laptop that isn't manufactured any longer. The search was simple and direct"

"This was the 3rd one I tried. It's says it's Cyrix certified. That makes me so warm and fuzzy. It worked fine and has several different flavors of OS's like Linux, Win9x, Win31, 2-NT.

Thanks for the upload. I'll make copies for my next Pionex that I'm going to save from the trash. I has the same vid and aud."

"According to problem with audio after instal of new drivers. Lucky, I have finally solved the problem. Evrything is working OK. For some reason the settings in BIOS were DISABLED for ExpressAUDIO and keyboard test, when I installed the drivers. Changed to active and the problems were gone."

"I loaded these drivers on a Compaq Presario 2230. Help! I have loosed the sound XpressAudio16TM, there is an acclamation mark in a yellow circle in System properities. Tried to reinstall audio but it did not help. I would really appreciate help to recover this sound again without restoring the hard disk! No sound, not even a POST beep. Win 95 OSR2, all uppgrades and fixes,

"I loaded these drivers on to a Compaq Presario 2230 running W2K Pro. They work fine although I did get a blue screen at one stage cause by the GX.DLL. It seems stable now and hopefully that was an isolated error. Many thanks for posting this. I have been tearing my hair trying to get the Presario working properly for a friend."

"Thanks! With the original drivers for this PC Spec 2021, I couldn't get the Windows Media Player 7.1 update to work (W98), but with these new drivers, all's well. No more shutdown hangs, either ) (BTW - I couldn't read the buttons, either - just guessed at what to click)"

"Instuctions was all cryptic, just hit enter and extract the files to a folder. In the folder there was a exe file that starts the installation of the drivers.If it ask where the drivers is, it put it on mine in this location "C \program files\cyrix corporation""
