"Not for the model scanner advertized. XP would not install the driver for the CanoScan FB 620U. Driver says it is for the CanoScan FB 630U. I am back where I started."

"I had some trouble with this download as it seemed to be missing a file that was required. However I still had a previous download which had worked but with an OS upgrade refused to work. It contained the missing file but pointed to subsequent files with an incorrect name. I just renamed the newer files with the older names and it worked. I did get the scanner up and runni

"This works!!! However, the instructions are very confusing. On the downloaded file, the instructions are shown on the LEFT, and the screenshots on the right are what NOT to do! Pay attention to the words on the left of the screenshots, and you'll find that the driver is in a temp file and you'll need to type in the location. After trying a few times by following the sc

"after searching everywhere for a driver for the fb630 in xp finaly this one works. I did have a problem with the computer finding the file using the instructions included, but resolved the problem by extracting the files (with a zip utility) to a known location (my documents, or desk top) then use the browse button to navigate to the file,clic the file then continue. The
