"I could not get the computer to look at this driver?

It favoured the driver built into windows, but it does not work too well. I have two modems and get the same result with both.

Others seem to have got it to work, so it may still be worth a try. Good luck! I had none this time!

"I have been using this driver since Windows 95! It works with both my OEM USR 56k Internal modem & my External 56k modem (both flashed to V.90). It actually works with Windows XP too! Please enjoy!"

"actually, notepad is a application to edit this .inf file. To tell windows how to use this files or itself how to work in windows evironment, simple right click on .inf file and select install. May be you need restart windows to take change effect."

"My OS is WN XP SP1. I downloaded file and all that was received was notepad data about the driver...no exe or install file was unzipped. If this driver was meant to be sent to a floppy (I didn't...I sent it to Desktop folder)...I've tried the floppy method from US Robotics site, it doesn't install with my Wn XP SP1. What now?...Over.
