"Wasn't exactly easy, but I flashed my 08/14/97 VXPro+-USB-Ultr-2A5LDH09C-00 unknown board. It now sees my Pentium 200MMX correctly as well as DIMM modules over 32Mb. Right now it works with a single sided 64Mb and a double sided 128Mb DIMM for a total of 192Mb. I used Uniflash as suggested in this forum, but it only worked if I did not use HIMEM.SYS (totally clean reboot).

"Original BIOS wouldn't recognize memory >32MB. I installed this using procedures and awdflash.exe from www.oshvn.net/en/software/awdflash.htm, and it worked perfectly. Thanks for posting this BIOS. It really helped me out."

"Hi, I have a problem with my motherboard, VX Pro II, AMI BIOS, 08/30/1997, in POST the BIOS reports 51-0830-001437-00111111-071595-UT801X-001_10_UTRON-F The problem is the MB has USB controller, but the BIOS don't have the option to enable it, so, I think a BIOS update is needed. "If you put a high value DIMM in this motherboard it will only recognize the first 16 Meg. Pretty annoying if you've spent lots of money on a 128 or 256 Meg module. This bios update fixes this problem. The only downside i've found is that after the upgrade, SIMM 3 and 4 sockets do not correctly recognise double-sided simms.Don't forget to download the award flash utility, w

"Awesome! Been trying to get it from everywhere. Forgot that this site is one of the best in Wild-Wild-West. The original had been changed for the 2A5LAH09C-00 VxPro Chipset and not for the VxPro(+) Chipset, producing a wrong SIMM and DIMM management. Thank you so much!"
